Tasting room opens for the season : April 1, 2010
After laying around on the couch 
for three months eating bon-bons, we are ready to peel ourselves off and get back to doing what we love to do -- selling great wines to folks who appreciate them. With that in mind, the Featherstone tasting room re-opens for the season on Thursday, April 1, 2010 (and will close again just before Christmas-- on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 5:30 pm).
Our hours for the 2010 season are:
Tasting Room: Open daily from 11:00 am - 5:30 pm, except closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from April to October. December and November: open 11:00 am - 5:30 pm, Friday to Sunday only. We charge $5.00 for tasting samples of four wines. A portion of our tasting room fees are shared with the local food bank.
Veranda: Open for lunch from 11:00 am-4:00 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from Victoria Day-Labour Day ( May 21-Sept 6, 2010 inclusive).
Sorry, we do not host weddings.
The tasting and retail sales area is housed in a portion of an 1830's farmhouse that is currently (and constantly!) undergoing renovations and restorations.
All of our small lot wines are available on-site and most are available only at the winery. Delivery is available from the winery to any location within the province of Ontario for a small fee to cover costs. We do not ship outside of Ontario.
Visitors will enjoy a truly picturesque setting, with an ambling creek and rolling hills. Featherstone is a "heart-and-soul" winery that provides wine-lovers with a memorable experience.
We are just under an hour's drive from Toronto, and about 45 minutes from the Canada-USA border at Niagara Falls or Lewiston.
