Featherstone at the LCBO
Most of our wines are only available from the winery -- either by picking them up yourself or by having us ship them to your Ontario address.
However, once a year we release a limited amount of our Riesling, Rosé and Merlot through the Vintages section of the LCBO. When this happens, the wine goes out to about 70 LCBO stores throughout the province, but most stores only get a case or two of the wine and it sells out quickly. Try not to injure yourself in the rush!

2009
Black Sheep Riesling $16.95/btle (product #80234).
Case production: 723 cases; 10 % alcohol
This wine is named in honour of the sheep that helped to make it. The sheep were used in the vineyard to eat away the grape leaves that shaded the Riesling grape clusters. Removing these leaves exposes the grapes to sunlight, enhancing their ripeness and quality. The result is an exceptional wine that is crisp and refreshing with a ripe apple and peach character. It is delicious company for chicken, seafood and pasta dishes with a little cream sauce as well as medium cheeses.

Cabernet Franc $16.95/btle (product #64618)
Case production: 481 cases; 12 % alcohol
Fermented in small batches and aged in American oak, this wine has aromas of cherry, tobacco, mint and spice. It pairs well with just about anything off the BBQ as well as Mediterranean foods and veal or pork tenderloin with lots of herbs.

2009 Rosé
Case production: 437 cases; 13 % alcohol
This is a vibrant rosé that combines the amiable characteristics of red grapes with the refreshing dry aspects of a white wine. Aromas of cherries, roses and the refreshment of spring are here. Served slightly chilled, it is a tasty accompaniment to light vegetarian meals and most chicken or fish dishes.
